Blogmas Day 18

[simple-payment id=”When you first have your baby you and the people around you are still in shock! You are now officially parents of a brand new offspring. While your in the hospital you have so much help around you, you’re basically never alone.

You have a question? Just pick up the phone and ask away.

You need more diapers and wipes? No need to run to the store and buy some just ask a nurse and she will bring you all that you need.

While your in the hospital there’s so many people around you to help, you truly aren’t alone. It didn’t hit Peyton and I at first that this was our baby and that we have to take care of her for the rest of her life. Man we couldn’t wait to get out of the hospital and just be home.

Once we got home it was a game changer. I could say our life’s changed but it was extremely different for both of us. Once the baby was brought home my job started and it was a little overwhelming. Peyton went back to work and i had no nurses to call when I needed something. As a mom my life as I know it was completely different! I clean dirty diapers, feed a baby and do it all over again.

For Peyton it was much different, after we left the hospital Peyton went back to work the next day. It was hard for him to leave us with P only being 4 days old. He wanted to stay with us a little longer but he knew if we wanted to move out we needed the money. As a first time dad I couldn’t imagine how he felt leaving P. He described it as heartbreaking the first time he had to say goodbye.

Being a stay at home mom is hard work!! But I couldn’t imagine having to leave P everyday. Working dads need more recognition for all that they do. Without Peyton working everyday I wouldn’t be able to be a stay at home mom and take care of P.
